Produced from 1956 to 1959
Introduced in october 1956.
The engine was still a 4 litre Austin S6, and the chassis was still made in
glass fibre. This car was the very first to use disc brakes on all four
wheels.
53 were produced. The 541 was also the first to have safetybelts.
Each engine i personally signed (!) by the assembler of the engine.
The only difference between de standard 541 and De Luxe is that they have
disc brakes.
There is maybe a small difference in the interior,
the glove box in the 541 is open and I believe the De Luxe has a door to the
glove box.
