Jensen CV-8
This car was using a ladder frame
designed by Richard Jensen. This car used large diameter paralell tubes. The
car was originally designed by Richard Jensen, with the front lights
designed by Eric Neale.
This car started using the 5,9 litre Chrysler V8-unit, with an automatic
transmission. the engine produced 305 bhp, which gave the car a maximum
speed of 132 mph (212 km/h).
This drove through the Torqueflite automatic transmission, but manual
transmission could be fitted.
This was the first production car in Britain to be offered with an alternor
place of the dynamo.
There was also made a handful of convertibles in 1965. The MK III-version,
which came in July 1965, had differences around the front lights, a deeper
windscreen, and a heated rear window, in adittion to dual-circuit brakes.
