According to Jensen-spescialist Richard Calver there were made 2 Triple
Black Jensen GT's of all 511 made. Richard Calver's chassisbook lists the
only 2 Triple Black GTs' produced as 30464 and 30505. (Notice the special
numbers!)
The 30505 is a righthanddrive (RHD) and its whereabouts are unknown, it was
last heard from in 1995. You know anything about it!???
The 30464 is a lefthanddrive (LHD) and is located in Chicago, seen on the
above picture. It might be the only Triple Black GT left in the world,
Richard Calver can attest to its uniqueness, as he calls it a quadruple
black GT
(all 4 blacks; interior, vinyl roof, exterior and interior trim).
The owner, Joseph Mazurk tells that this car won the best in its class in
the 2002 Eastern Nationals held in Baltimore Maryland and he drove it to and
from Chicago which is about 1400 miles round trip. "This shows that the car
is no garage queen and is driven, weather permitting, quite often", he
writes to us.
Joseph from Chicago also own the 1974 Jensen-Healey No. 15163.
