1938 Jensen H-Type
(This H12 was probably the last one built.) 

Jensen H-type
1938 to 1946
About 15 produced, mainyly rightdriven.
Nash 4,2 S8 (Straight 8) and Lincoln 4,4 V12 engines.
Made in four versions in aluminium.



Jensen HL1



The same Jensen HL1 now under restoration (Sept. 2002)



...and the restoration is thorough enough...

Here is a photo of Jensen H-type, chassis no. HL1, taken when new.
This is a V12 and almost certainly the only V12 Jensen ever built.
The 'L' stands for 'Lincoln' as it has a Lincoln Zephyr engine.

Possibly there was built only one shortwheelbase 2 door saloon
(No. HC1, the 'C' signifying coil sprung rear suspension)
and perhaps only two tourers and three dropheads (including HL1).
The remainder were 4-door saloons like the above photo.
