Jensen
Interceptor Series Four
They planned on
making 12 cars a year when Jensen Cars Ltd started up in 1990,
6 years after
the factory went down.
The car was very much the same, but some raffinements
were made,
though not easy to see on the car at a quick glance.
One was complete when the factory went down in 1984 (one to crown prince
Mohammed of Saudi Arabia),
2 completed in 1985, 1 in 1986, 4 in 1987 (one sold to the Sultan of Oman,
and one to the crown prince of Saudi Arabia), 2 in 1988 (one to King Fahd of
Saudi Arabia), 1 in 1989 and 2 in 1990.
The series Four was to be bought both as a saloon and a convertible.
Only 13 was made. 7 right hand driven, and 6 left hand driven.
8 was convertibles, 4 saloons and 1 hardtop.
All had the 360 ci V8-engine, and all had Torqueflite automatic transmission.
