RUST IN PEACE, PART ONE

As Neil Young say it - Rust never sleeps! Jensenowners know, as any other classic car owner does. Steel and iron actually is not the perfect material to make cars in, if they are to survive. Though time will put it's signs om most materials, it's always sad when something worth saving is rotting away.
You're hereby warned, scrolling down this page will break the hearts of Jensonites, as well as every decent lover of classic cars.
Rust in peace, Jensens! Someone is thinking about you!

The Jensens above is all rotting away in a backyard in West Bromwich, U.K.
A total of 5 Jensen Interceptors, and the remnants of a Jensen 541, together with other great cars, all slowly rotting away.
The rich owner refuses to sell due to a insurance contract.
Ubelievable? Yes, isn't it!!!
And in  the very same city where the cars were handbuilt!


In the neighbouring city:

The two Jensens above is rotting away in Birmingham, U.K.
A 1968 Jensen FF, and a 1972 Jensen Interceptor MKIII with the plates still on.
The cars are owned by the very same owner as the West Bromwich-cars.
(And no - the parkway-abbreviation on the plate is not where you can find the car!)
Beyond repair, and so sad it makes you cry!


In an English scrapyard we find the Interceptor with WVO 122G in a sad state:

Therefore - the moral is:
Let a enthusiast take care of the car before it comes beyond repair.
When you don't have the money to fix the car up anymore, or you don't have the courage or the heralth, hand the car over, sell it, save it!
NEVER let it rot so that these great cars wynd up as only a memory!
