RUST IN PEACE, PART TWO
(Guess you saw the sad cases in
PART ONE? SEE ALSO
THREE AND FOUR)
Here are more sad pictures.
Though - the first one here, is now saved!

We found this lonely Jensen Interceptor MK III in a
garage outside Birmingham March 2003.

After digging it out it looked sick and lonely...

Though there were severe rot on the car, we happily can say that it was sold
for £3000 just a couple of days before we saw it. It is now going to be
restored!

If you find a rotting Jensen somewhere, please get hold of the
chassis-number, and mail it to us or Richard Calver, who tries to keep up
with how each jensen is doing.

No hope for there two ones. Hidden away as partscars outside
Jensensopescialists Cropredy Bridge Garage outside Banbury.

The frontview isn't at all better...

More from the same restingplace -
Can you imagine one more dead than this one...!?

Waiting for the final restingplace...

Together with his darker blue MK III brother.

A gold Interceptor MK II going the same way, now about to save some sounder
cars with parts at Cropredy Bridge Garage. Some's gotta die to save others.

Oh yeah, it's bad rot, all right...

Green with envy on the Interceptors in better condition, this MK III is dead
if a
buyer doesn't pop up quite soon. (Contact Cropredy Bridge Garage!).

Waiting to be saved... 10 Interceptors possible to save.
Cropredy Bridge Garage will probably have the car you'd like to restore.
MK I, II and III. They're all here.
The white one is a Interceptor SP in a quite good condition.
Make your pick...

One a blue beauty, now unsavable, outside of Birmingham.
Formerly by a guy which once was a restorer, before he lost interest.

Now it is owned by the Jensen Heritage Trust.
No doubt the rust is killing the cars!

Good interior, but rotten exterior, in the English countryside...

Do you have a rotting
Jensen?
Rot is just a side of owning a car. Sad but true.
Please let the world know!
Email us a picture or two.
Undoubtfully it's sad, but it's still a sign of the times, and a good
warning for others.
Jensens in the late lives is still worth to be remembered. Rust never sleeps...

Therefore - the moral is:
Let a enthusiast take care of the car before it comes beyond repair.
When you don't have the money to fix the car up anymore, or you don't have
the courage or the heralth, hand the car over, sell it, save it!
NEVER let it rot so that these great cars wynd up as only a memory!
